Overview

The UBS PmP receiver is a frequency agile, high selectivity indoor broadband receiver designed primarily for wireless internet applications. This high performance receiver is well equipped with features for ease of operation and maintenance. Receiver bandwidth is in the range of 2 - 16 MHz and has an IF output of 44 MHz or 36 MHz (70 MHz optional).

The receiver features an RF frequency input which is adjustable in 125 kHz steps. Calibrated LED bar level meters, which monitor the RF input and IF output levels, are mounted on the front panel. The RF input AGC and RF pre-amplifier are On/Off switchable to provide receiver input overload protection. Contact closure relays allow the operator to monitor and control the receiver’s status remotely. This includes RF Receive or Standby operation, loss of external reference and low IF output level. Each receiver comes configured with an external 10 MHz reference input and an internal 10 MHz OCXO. The receiver is housed in a standard 19" rack mountable enclosure.

Extended bandwidth, alternate frequencies, and various powering configurations are also available.
