Job Title

Senior RF Engineer / Team Leader

Successful candidate must have:

• Responsible for managing the team of RF engineers during the development of RF circuits and sub-circuits
• Experience with RF development including discrete component-level surface-mount circuit board schematics, layouts, simulations, prototype circuit implementation, performance and reliability stress testing, documentation and factory introduction consulting
• Sub-circuit design and development experience, discrete and distributed filters, tunable filters, LNAs, mixers, VCOs, synthesizers (PLL), PAs, RF switches, reference circuits with VCXO and TCXO, knowledge and understanding of ALC circuits
• RF compatibility, interface analysis and system troubleshooting experience
• Experience in creating and presenting proposals, documets, schedules and design review data to upper management and technical staff
• Experience with up & down conversion of complex RF waveforms such as QAM, QPSK, COFDM.
• Knowledge & understanding of fractional PLLs, DDS, and NCO.
• Understanding of GPS reference technology, phase noise reduction techniques, single sideband up-conversion & IQ modulation.
• Experience with CROs, dielectric filters and lamp element filters.
• Hands on experience in building and testing his/her own designs.
