Overview

The UBS Point to Multi Point 1.5, 2.0 - 2.3 and 2.5 - 2.7 GHz are frequency agile, indoor broadband transmitters capable of providing up to 10 Watts of digital average power in a 2 to 27 MHz bandwidth. The Transmitters are designed primarily for digital wireless Internet and video applications and come well equipped with features for ease of operation while taking advantage of the latest technology available.

The Transmitters feature individual control of RF output and IF input levels which are displayed on the calibrated LED bar level meters, allowing for easy setup of the RF output level. As well, the frequency agile RF output is adjustable in 125 KHz steps. The contact closure relays allow the operator to monitor and control the Transmitter’s RF output status remotely, including RF Transmit or Standby operation, High Temperature Fault, loss of external reference and low RF power. An external 10 MHz reference input with an internal 10 MHz OCXO as backup is also provided with the units.

The Transmitter is housed in a standard 19" rack mount enclosure. Extended bandwidth, alternate frequency, and various powering configurations are available. UBS can also supply monitoring software, control software, and hardware packages, customized to meet specific requirements.
