Overview

Designed as a cost-effective alternative to single channel Transmitters, this product is comprised of two complete Transmitters housed in one compact 3U rack mount enclosure. Containing high linearity GaAs FET amplifiers, it delivers 10 Watts (50 W for 100 W version) of analog peak sync or 2.5 Watts (10 W for 100W version) of digital average power per channel. Broadband IF input provides convenience of using identical Transmitters for all channels.

Featuring excellent phase noise performance, the Transmitter is fully compatible with all modern modulation schemes and transparent to all popular encoding systems. The transmitted signal can be received using standard customer premises downconverter and decoding equipment.

Extended bandwidth, alternate frequencies and various powering configurations are available.

UBS can also supply monitoring software, control software, and hardware packages, customized to meet specific requirements.
